Weekly Weigh-In: Week 23
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Who needs 52 weeks? Not this guy! 29 weeks to spare!
Phase II (16 pounds, 14 weeks) begins today. I was tempted to put this as the entirety of the post, but for completeness the normal stuff is below (the old scale gets retired for Phase II btw):
Category | New Scale (lbs) | Old Scale (lbs) |
---|---|---|
Starting Weight: | 267 (estimate) | 273 |
Target Weight: | 215 | 221 |
End Of Week 22 Weight: | 217.9 | 220 |
End Of Week 23 Weight: | 214.8 | 217 |
Week Over Week Change: | -3.1 | -3 |
Total Weight Loss So Far: | 52.2 | 56 |
Average Per Week So Far: | 2.27 lbs/week | 2.43 lbs/week |
Another very bouncy week day to day. I’ve figured it out as mostly being gym/water related. You’ve seen how much I sweat at the gym. I drop a lot the morning after gym nights. I drink back in some of the water that I lost to excess the next day. My intensity is up last month or so, so the ups and downs are more dramatic.
Off to the gym!

Yay J!!!! Good for you. You are a great motivator to all of us hopeful dieters out here in cyberspace
Amazing! Congratulations! Onward to the next milestone!
Thanks all –
just came back from the gym and the wife and kid are out for a bit so I got ‘Good Feeling’ blasting on repeat as loud as the computer speakers will pump it.
Feelin’ Great!
Whoooo hoooo… Congratulations! Bet you feel amazing. Hopefully your wife and kids will be home to celebrate with you.
LOL – I met them after to run some planned errands, but had they come home, both of them would have complained about choice of music. 🙂
Congrats J! and continued success with Phase II
Thanks David, Phase II has got me a little worried, but I’m feeling pretty good today.
Well done J! And that was a proper woohoo!
Did a number of previews to make sure it broke properly over the line 🙂
Congrats J! That is AWESOME! Does this make 52 pounds or 56?
Thanks. Going with 52. The old scale was really unreliable at the upper end where it was at it’s max (and was above it’s max before then)
That’s amazing J, well done!
