The Road To 2012 NYC Marathon – Summary of T-44 Week.
- Completed C25K Week 7, started Week 8 (we’re up to 28 minute runs).
- First night time outdoor run (with my reflective vest of course!) on Friday. Came home late enough on Friday from work that it was not worth the trip to the gym, since I wouldn’t be able to do weights after the run anyway. Since the weather had warmed up again, decided to go outdoors for the run.
- I discovered my sweat is propelled fast enough from my body to register as a ‘touch’ on my smart-phone. Managed to hit the pause button on C25K timer on Wednesday’s run. Good thing I knew what the time left was and could use the treadmills clock (typically the treadmill is about 8-10 seconds ahead of the C25K app since I don’t press start on C25K until the treadmill is up to warm-up speed – yes I make things more complicated than they need to be).
