The Road To 2012 NYC Marathon – Summary of T-41 Week.


  • Completed my planned repeat of C25K Week 9, outdoors x2.
  • Received my official NYC Marathon registration number and badge (on the right under the calender).
  • First competitive 5K run in 2 weeks.
  • Starting to feel like it’s time for new workout shoes.  Fortunately, where I need to pick up my number for Run Nassau series is a proper running shoe store, so I figure I will go early and get that taken care of too.

Longest Run: 4.18 miles 4.20 miles

  1. You’re doing so well !! How exciting that you have worked out and run so much that you’ve actually worn out a pair of shoes!

    • Well, it’s been 2 1/2 years for these guys. To be honest, they’re not in falling apart condition, but I can feel the difference on the running than how they felt at first. And I need to avoid any injury to make the goal.
