So this was the first week of Phase IV!  Very pleased with how things are going.  I will admit I think at least some of my weight loss now is muscle.  I am wiped out after the runs, and do very little lifting now (not that the running isn’t building some of the muscles).  Will be recording body fat % now as a start to getting a handle on how good the scale’s measurement is and how much it fluctuates.  27.1% says what I know already, still some weight to lose.

Had a very exciting run on Friday (more on this tomorrow!).  And next week we start the first marathon training program schedule – Northern Iowa.  This morning is the second race in the Run Nassau series.  We’ll be doing 4 miles along Nickerson Beach which is on the Atlantic Ocean.  It’s kind of cold still and bit worried about the wind factor.
