The Road To 2012 NYC Marathon – Summary of T-19 Week
It’s hard to imagine there are less than 20 weeks to go, and I feel less prepared than I did 5 weeks ago.
I mostly stuck to the non-running this week. I did stationary bike 3 days during the week. I was a bit better about icing and stretching, but still room for improvement. Generally feeling better, but still not feeling 100% either, but perhaps that’s the inactivity as well. Finally broke down and did 2 miles on the treadmill on Sunday. I also swam on Sunday. I think this week I will keep to light running on some sessions and keep it all on the treadmill. So none on Monday, but will get some in Wednesday and again on Sunday. Will need to keep icing and stretching.

I am so sorry to hear about your troubles! I am glad to know that I am not alone in the body struggles. I guess when you are training for a big event there are a lot of hurdles to jump over. Hang in there man.
thanks shonnie!
