What a crazy week. Work has been super stressful. A project that was supposed to wrap up this week got postponed at the last minute due other craziness going on, which was incredibly disappointing (plus the other craziness was um crazy). Been bouncing up and down like a yo-yo – multi pound ups and downs not all explainable. Capped off by last night where we went to an International Night at a school. It seems all nations agree that everything should be fried – there was one tray of limp broccoli that I found near the end but otherwise I ate a lot of fried food last night. I’m not entirely sure how I did yesterday, but I’m up 2.5 pounds from yesterday morning – so I’m guessing at least some of it is just retention since I didn’t eat THAT much..
So all in all – a bad bad week – culminating in my first breach of the phase’s original weight.
Now time to digest breakfast and off to the road! First half-marathon length training run today.
