T-17 – Hot Hot Hot
Continuing a repeat of week 1 training program before we kick off for real starting today. I think this sums up how it feels to run:
Improvement over last week but I’d still like to see better overall time. I’m getting some 7:30 minute runs in followed by heaving and gasping and walking. I guess I could slow down and see if the stamina is better but I really want to get the sub-4 time this time around.

Grrr, this is ridiculous. I did not have a great week (beers + ice cream), but nothing that warrants this. I am half hoping the sudden uptake in running is causing some muscle re-build, but that’s just hope, not facts.

T-18 – Kick It’
Few days overdue, I know, but…I decided to extend the training program to 18 weeks and started July 1st. I’ll be repeating Week 1 an extra two times.
- I’ve barely done anything since the marathon two months ago and have definitely lost stamina
- I’ve got some complications this month and might need some workaround so having a little extra under the belt will help
- It’s gone from barely spring to summer now since last run and boy is it sticky now
- I want to push the speed (combined with no stamina, not so fun)
