T-13 – Energizer bunny ..
.. I am not.
Rough rough week, really questioning it during the week as the work schedule has got me absolutely zonked. 5 miler was pathetic, so was the second 3 miler (tho a hot gym did not help, I came out of gym more drenched after 3 miles than after 8 miler).
However, the 8 miler was not bad. The difference? Two solid nights of sleep. Also, I slowed down a little and didn’t try for sub-8 minute miles at the beginning. And you know what, did WAY better than last time around at the same week (~1:26), and honestly only slightly slower than the 8 mile taper run at the end of the program.
Next week.. we move to double digit runs!!!!
